Chrash:
who worries about what they will look like when they are older?
Ashley. She has always been proud of her red hair, claiming it as one of her more attractive features. So, she is afraid that her hair will dull and fade as she gets older. Chris assures her that he’d like her even if she shaved all of her hair off, though he wouldn’t advise doing it for shits and giggles.
who hogs the blanket?
Ashley. She never does it on purpose, but Chris has woken up more than a few times freezing and blanketless. Not wanting to wake her up, he rides it through the night. Ashley feels super guilty about it the next morning, demanding that he wake her up or take the blanket back if it happens again.
who eats the others uneaten pizza crusts?
Chris. He has never met a carb that he didn’t love, and refuses to let her crusts go to waste.
who is more likely to cry over a sad book or movie?
Ashley. And, because she loves torturing herself with sad books, she is always upset about one plot line or the other. Chris is never sure how to comfort her, so he tries to point out that its “just a book.” This, of course, sends the book flying at his face.
who talks smack while playing video games?
They both do, mercilessly mocking the other. Mario Kart games are the worst; they usually end in the loser chucking the controller across the room at top speed.
who sings along with the radio?
Chris. He is shameless when it comes to this, though it doesn’t take long until she’s singing along with him. She get’s a little embarrassed when singing, even though shes miles better than Chris is.
who would enter them both into a talent show?
Again, Chris. He enters them in for something dumb like hula hooping, and then is genuinely surprised when Ashley is good at it.
who would accidentally set the kitchen on fire while cooking?
Chris. Bad things happen when Chris tries to cook. You can find a fic about that here.
who would throw the other into a pool?
Chris. Ashley goes in kicking and screaming, splashing him in revenge. When Chris forgets about it, she sneaks up behind him and stealthily pushes him in, the widest grin on her face.
who shops for groceries?
Ashley. On her never ending quest to get him to eat healthier, she makes sure to get lots of organic foods for him. Ashley has a huge sweet tooth though, so she always ends up sneaking in candy for herself.
who kills the spiders?
Chris. Ashley isn’t necessarily afraid of spiders, she would just prefer they be as far away from her as possible. At least, that’s what she tells herself when she is standing on top a chair screaming at Chris to kill one.
who is the morning/night person?
Ashley is the morning person and Chris is the night person. Ashley can’t drag his body out of bed before 11, and Chris has to give her copious amounts of caffeine to keep her up with him.
whO PROPOSES?
Technically Chris proposes. He’d been prompted and primed for weeks for this moment, relying on Sam to help make it perfect for her. Of course, Ashley knew that it was going to happen as soon as Chris told Sam about it. Sam had been feeding Ashley’s suggestions to Chris, so she ended up planning her entire proposal.
OKAY now for Mike/Jess:
who worries about what they will look like when they are older?
Jess. She already worries what she looks like now, so thinking about what she will look like later on in her life just stressed her out more. Mike assures her that “you look super hot now, and you’ll look super hot later. You’re like wine babe, you only get better with age.”
who hogs the blanket?
Jess. She does it so often that Mike just ends up bringing another blanket to bring out when she inevitably snakes the first one away from him.

Mike. “I don’t need the extra carbs” she insists, “you take it so i don’t eat it.” Shrugging, Mike takes it from her and says “anything for you darling” before eating the buttery bread.

Mike. Surprisingly, he gets really invested in movies like that, especially movies that have dogs in them. He hides it from Jess, of course. There’s no way he’d let anyone know that he shed a secret tear at the end of Forrest Gump.
who talks smack while playing video games?
They both do. Though, their “smack talk” is really just the same flirty banter that they usually do, consisting of playfully competitive talk with a lot of thinly veiled sexual innuendos.
who sings along with the radio?
Jess. She takes pride in having the best music taste of the group, so she pauses right before the beat drops or the chorus hits and says “take notes children” before rocking out to the music.

Mike. They both have incredible singing voices, so Mike signs them up to sing a duet. At first, Jess get’s a little self conscious. As the song goes on however, she loosens up and really starts to stun the crowd with her strong alto voice. They win first place easily.
who would accidentally set the kitchen on fire while cooking?
Jess. Mike can hardly stop laughing long enough to help her put it out. Much to her chagrin, he calls her Katniss for the rest of the week because she was “the girl on fire.”
who would throw the other into a pool?
Jess. She would lure him in near the edge of the pool with a flirty wink, and then push him in right before she actually kisses him.
who shops for groceries?
Mike, though Jess makes a detailed list of everything she wants him to get for her. By the end of the trip, two thirds of what he buys is for Jess. He has to take a whole other trip just to get the things he wanted in the first place.
who kills the spiders?
Mike. Jess is deathly afraid of spiders, no matter how small. She hates killing things though, so she insists that Mike trap it in a cup and take it outside.
who is the morning/night person?
They are both night people. This is good for the most part; they stay up most nights until two am drinking, partying, or just talking. However, it does pose an issue in the morning, when both of them have to get up for 9 am classes.
whO PROPOSES?
Mike. Jess had been subtly hinting at what she wanted for years, but she gave up, thinking that Mike was never going to make the move due to his known fear of commitment. He surprises her by proposing on their anniversary. Every single detail is exactly what Jess wanted.
