Oh that's how I pronounce it, so it's correct to me!!! It's finnish for berry but I pronounce it in a very dutch way so. I might be in the wrong too sdfgsdfgsdf

This isn't exactly a real question as much as me just thinking aloud since I don't think there is an answer available, but I've been drawing Leed today and it made me wonder what kinda antler she's using as a breast plate 🤔 it looks very much like a moose antler, but as far as I remember I don't think we've seen anything with antlers like that in the dungeon. I'm sure Ryoko Kui thought extensively about that (as well as all the pelts around her waist) while she was designing her, and it makes me so curious. I wonder if Leed is actually pretty worldly, and has hunted regular animal game outside of the dungeon?

I think it would be hard for the Orcs to leave the dungeon especially since they stay on the lower levels but as Senshi's backstory shows there are other entrances that the humans don't know about... So if there are moose around maybe?

There's Jackalopes for a monster with antlers, althought Laios didn't seem to know what kind of monster a Jackalop was, implying there aren't any in the dungeon, it's the only one with antlers that I remember. (And they're small just 40cm tall) (Marcille why did you pick this bunny to fight when there's murder bunnies)

Their antlers aren't quite the right shape either.

Another possibility could be something carved out of a really big monster bones? Would that even be possible? Much to think about!

I think people gotta keep in mind that while for the most part giving a dark-skinned character blue eyes is generally a colorist design choice, Kabru is heavily implied to be the fantasy equivalent of vaguely middle eastern (here's a pretty neat theory about him being possibly Indian) and there is basis for blue-eyed middle eastern people in the real world. Just as like a gentle reminder for people to not get too overly insulting of brown people with blue eyes when they're joking about the colorism of the design, since I've seen some people cross the line a bit into actually hurtful to real people territory 😅

It's funny to go "get him brown contacts" but yeah we gotta be careful we don't offend real people with those traits

I also think as a design in general Kabru is pretty good, as other people mentioned his eyes also work to convey his intensity when necessary

I just noticed that Fionil has slightly more rounded ears than the other elves whenever Ryoko Kui draws her (her ears sharper in the anime), I wonder if she's mixed race like Marcille is? 🤔 I mean the sharpness of Marcille's ears has always changed a lot throughout the manga so it could just be a mistake lmao but it would be cute if Marcille had an option for another extra long lived person to be friends with!
