"Hey, Isabelle...!" Looks like someone missed a certain secretary! Fox slipped a laugh within his greeting to her while gently but definitely joyfully embracing her. "How have you been? It's been a while!"

          “Fox!! It’s so good to see you again!”

          Being as small as she is, wrapping her arms completely around him was no easy task, but she manages to get around his neck with a happy little hug, tail waggling furiously behind her as she did so.

          “I’ve been okay! I finally took one of those ‘vacations’ Mayor tells me so much about. Truth be told, I’d rather be working. It get so dull sometimes!”

“Don’t you dare lift me up.”

“What’re y’gonna do, fire me?” 

He hoists Fox over his shoulder anyway. What a guy!

   Okay, so this first round of trying to teach Fox how to cook things that weren’t just instant noodles had failed spectacularly. Dramatic as ever, Luigi lay sprawled out on the bathroom floor like a fallen maiden, clutching his poor stomach and wailing in pain. Face green as his clothes, he looked over to his companion in suffering who didn’t appear to have it much better.

        ❝O-Okey--- s-so... next time, I-I’m-a handle the cooking...❞

"Would you want any breakfast, Link...?" Fox turned to the other, gentle smile playing at his lips. "'Cause I could sure go for some pancakes. I'm not... well, GREAT at cooking... but I can sure try!" Attempting to cook while half-asleep? Well... maybe it'll be good practice.

      “Mnngh.   .   .Wha—?”

    The hylian was trying to rub Sandman’s sleeping dust from his eyes. He could barely turn the gears in his brain to conjure up what was actual words and what were just sounds. Everything just sounded like a bunch of murmurs to him.

       “P-Pannyaches?”

     Link leans against the wall and droopily looks up at Fox. Even if that wasn’t a yes or no, he’d still go along what was asked.

"Any room for me with all these blankets?" Fox chuckled at the mere sight of the blanket pile on that poor couch. And poking out of those blankets was Geno, who had obviously outdone himself with his blanket fort.

❝ oh, i don’t know. ❞  the lilt in his tone made it clear that he was messing around, his grin proudly displaying how chuffed he was with his creation. ❝ it is a little bit tight, and i can’t be sure you could squeeze in here without being a little extra snug… but you know what? ❞

that smile turned that slightest bit more wild, and he shuffled, the amount of space left behind barely enough to house fox at his side. ❝ to heck with it, we’ll make room. ❞

   He accepts Fox’s help, but continues wailing dramatically.
