happy birthday, lyney and lynette. i really wish the three of us could be together today. i miss you two. i miss all the little things we'd do together—visiting the opera house, eating breakfast at your favourite cafes, spending hours watching you put together outfits for your performances... whatever it was, it was always easier with the two of you by my side.

things are harder now, but your memories help me keep my head clear. thank you. i love you both very, very much and i hope you have a wonderful time.

I wish that people kept in mind that Father was not much older than us. I agree that she did not do things perfectly. I agree that there are things that she did that hurt others within the House. But she was a young adult who had never known a truly nurturing relationship. She did everything that she could within the circumstances we were in. She always tried to do better by us. And I'll never forget how she saved me. -Lynette

I am kin with three characters who have VERY strong feelings about Arlecchino, but in radically different ways. Yes as Furina I was terrified of her. Yes as Lynette I adored her as my Father. You weren't a bad father to me. I suppose that it probably doesn't hurt you to see others who remember you poorly, but even so, I want you to know that I remember you well. I believe that you did the best you could under difficult circumstances.
