From her previous novel, Black Dust, I already knew that Lynn Charles @lynncharlesnet has a talent to write dramatic moments that can happen to everybody without a notice in the most beautiful ways.
A talent to write a story that will make you feel that yes, Life can hurt deeply, but it doesn’t mean that it stops at that.
“Beneath The Stars” shows how happiness doesn’t erase the pain, but can walk side by side with it. It’s a wonderful story of love, of grief, of growth, and i’m sad to close it–watch me reread it immediately !
I am the first one surprised to see that I connected with all the characters : Sid and his need to make his parents proud, Eddie and his hunger to keep moving forward, Adrian … Oh, I see so much of myself in Adrian.
There is a moment in the story (I won’t spoil you, but you know it when you see it) where I cried big, fat tears in public reading it, because it felt so true and so intimate.
I for one cannot wait for this author’s next move !!

This story is fabulous and you have to pick it up right now. The emotional journey from start to end will leave you happy, sad, hopeful, completely gutted, and excited in equal turns. You;ll get invested in the characters and want to see them succeed. You’ll cry with them when things go wrong. And you will feel everything they do because the emotions are so real as you read. I couldn’t put the book down and loved every moment of the story.
