Honeystar and Lynxleap, leader and deputy of WolfClan!

They’re both on the older side, being 97 and 96 moons respectively, they grew up being rivals in everything. They had similarly aged mentors, Honeystar mentored by Currentflip, the still living elder in the clan, and Lynxleap mentored by a wise she-cat who died in the recent freeze.

Growing up, Honeyslip and Lynxleap competed for *everything*. Who ran the fastest, who climbed trees the best, who could catch the most crabs before first moonlight. Honeyslip matured first, as one of their night time races led to her nearly losing her leg and being stuck in the medicine den for nearly an entire season cycle. Lynxleap was frustrated by this, but after a while followed in her paw steps.

A lot of cats before the fall of WolfClan believed that the two would announce their courtship had ended… any day now! But in truth, they were growing apart without even knowing it.

… And both of them are gay? I didn’t even do it on purpose but this clan is riddled with lesbians and one gay couple, I had to turn on same-sex kits so I could design babies that look like their parents 😭😭
