Lyra Stone Sims 3 and Sims 4 style. I'm so happy with how she's turned out. Now to work on the rest of the Stone's.
The Last Breath || Oneshot
"I'm sorry, you don't deserve to suffer either." She spoke. The knife in my shoulder was ripped out and replaced into my throat. My screams were barely heard, I tried to gasp for air--it was no use. The knife was repeatedly stabbed into my esophagus. It wasn't until the fifth painful stab when i shared my last breath with the world.
My eyes fluttered with a close, my body went limp. I was dead. I felt my eyes open once more with a gasp of breath, I looked over to see my body lay under the tree, my clothes stained with my own crimson blood. A hand held my mouth, i was looking at the limp body that once was mine. A soft tear escaped my eyes, I was a spirit now. I watched Talon shove Cashmere into the tree, yelling into her face. I tried to place my hands onto Talon, to pull him away--but it was no use, my hand wasn't able to contact his live body.
My screams were not heard--yet again. I still didn't want the poor girl to suffer. But Talon wanted her to, I watched her cough for air, her face buried in the sand. She was gasping for breath as i was. She was going to share the same fate as me, but it wasn't until Talon was stabbed into the stomach when i knew whom won the fight. The crimson blood stained his shirt, he was slowly dying--another tear left my eye. She managed to protect herself, and I was glad. I chose to try and attack her for injuring my partner, I knew i shouldn't have.
I watched Talon have his last breath, I watched his body fall to the ground, I heard his cannon. His eyes remained open, his body was empty. He was gone, just like me. I watched Talon's soul fly from his own body. My left hand held onto his right, "Come on Talon, it's time to go to our new home. It will be better than Five and the Capitol altogether." I tugged on his hand pulling him into the bright light that shown. Small tears escaped my eyes--with a last look at my body--i tugged on Talon once more. And together, we walked into the light.
Panem wasn't a place for me, I had no where to fit in. Maybe the other world would be better for Talon and I. And maybe, just maybe, I will no longer be an Outsider.
Part Five: Talon, Lyra, Aven and Colt
5, 4, 3, 2, 1, 0.
Talon jumps off the pedestal and sees the cornucopia. He sees several weapons in front of him. He also see several tributes being slayed in the process of getting supplies. Quickly he grabs backpack C which is directly in front of him. He picks it up as fast as he can. He sees Lyra, his district partner and ally, heading his way. Grabbing her arm, they start to run south. He continues to run with Lyra until he can no longer hear the screams of children dying, letting him know they are safe...for now.
Lyra quickly jumped off her platform running for the pack A that was in front of her. Unfortunately, a boy snatched it off the ground then took off before she could even get to it. She quickly grabbed the throwing knives that lay just ahead. She didn’t have time to see all the dead tributes bodies fall, her nerves were at high peak. Once she had her things, her ally grabbed her arm, and together they both ran to the south. With a quick glance back at the cornucopia, she noticed the bodies drop, the blood was shedding. The games have begun. “Run faster Talon!” She screamed as they took off, trying to find a safe spot for the time being.
Colt looks to Aven across the Cornucopia, sucking in a deep breath. All he’s studied has come to this and he’d be lying if he said he wasn’t completely terrified. He spent the countdown watching over the weapons and judging his distance from each one, observing who was close to him and what they would likely want or go for. He saw it. His crowbar. He could do it. The gong sounded and he threw himself off the platform, running fast toward the crowbar. Scooping it up, he swung it around hard to the side to block as he grabbed the throwing knives next to them. He threw an elbow back to catch any approaching tribute off guard and saw Aven rushing into the Cornucopia, pickings up Pack E and the bow and Arrows before running to meethim. Thankful that both was safe, Colt grabbed her hand and the two of them took off toward the south
Sparking with Electricity. || Prep Tranformation || Oneshot
Everyone sat quietly at the table, not speaking a word. Laelia's fingernails tapped against the table, which seemed to anger Dano. Talon and I quietly ate our food, waiting for the day to ease by. The Capitol's breakfast was way better than any other breakfast in all of Panem. Laelia gave a small cough, "I think you two should get ready, we are going to the Remake Room. There you will meet your Stylists and Prep Team, they will help you get ready for the Parade." Simultaneously, Talon and I left the table, heading into our separate rooms.
Keep Moving Like a Bullet Train. || Train Para || Lyra&Talon
The cold air venting throughout the entire train made me shiver. The whole ‘being betrayed by my own blood’ made my tempature lower. Laelia continued to sit in the blue velvet love seat unphased by the whole Reaping, looking out the window as if we werent real. The train was moving faster than the speed of light, and we couldnt feel a thing. I grabbed a strawberry muffin off of the many food carts. After taking a bite out of the muffin i quickly put it back down. The taste was so unreal from the District Five food. I spanned my head towards our Capitolite Escort. “Um Laelia, where is our mentor?" I asked unsure if i even should talk to her. Her eyes darted towards me, “He’s in his room," She stood up and grabbed a drink from the table. “I’ll go get him." She walked over to the door and soon after she was gone. I walk over to where Talon sat—taking a seat next to him, i begin to look at the scenery fly by outside the window. “Did you know, the train travels at a speed of 200 miles per hour? I read about it in a book." I turn towards Talon, “Are you okay? I mean, well, about the whole ordeal. I’m still a little phased about the Reaping, but we cant look weak infront of the others. We cant hope we will make it out, because hope is a sign of weakness." I place my hand ontop of his, but i quickly retract. Hoping this act didnt make him feel uneasy. “Talon, you know you can always talk to me." Soon after i finish speaking the door slides open, then Laelia walks in with our Mentor. “Congratulations on getting picked. I’m here to make sure you live long enough to make it out of the arena. But only one of you will make it out. Hello, my name is Dano Jules, Victor of the 11th Hunger Games." His voice sent a shiver down my spine. I watched him take a seat infront of Talon and I, “My name is Lyra Stone. Nice to meet you."
Betrayed by Blood.|| Goodbyes || Oneshot.
Sitting inside a small dusty room wasn’t very pleasant. Somewhere inside me I knew Ramona will beg her father to have me reaped. I wait for the first person to walk inside the room to say their final goodbyes before I get sent to the Capitol. The door bursts open and my sad mother walks in along with Ian. She screams as she grips onto my jumper, I see Ian with red eyes. He is fighting back the tears like I am. “I’m so sorry, I’m so sorry.” She screams. I loosen her grip and look my mother in the eyes, “Why are you sorry?” I ask with a wild look on my face. She walks over to the sofa and rests her face inside her palms.
“The Mayor came to visit me yesterday, and he said if I didn’t vote for you, he would have me killed.” My jaw drops, the tears begin to fall from my eyes, filled with betrayal. “What? And you did it? You voted for your own daughter to be sent in to be murdered?!” I turn to Ian, “Did you know about this?!” He begins to look at his feet to avoid eye contact. “Yes.” He says faintly. I was betrayed by my own family. They sent me to my death; their own family. “Get out. Now.” I point to the door. My mother begins to look at me, “Honey,—“
I hold my hand up. “GET OUT! The both of you just leave. You obviously do not want me around, so just go!” They begin to walk towards the door. Ian turns around to face me, “I’m so sorry Lyra. I’m so sorry..” Together they leave the room, and once again, I am alone. I walk over to the Peacekeeper near the door, “I know my friends are going to come, tell them I don’t want to see them.” The Peacekeeper nods and I walk back into the room. I begin to realize, if I am going to be sent to my death, I shouldn’t worry about my family or friends. My own family didn’t care for me, and I don’t want my friends to worry. If I’m going to win, I don’t want to have any attachments. I grab an old book off the many bookshelves filling the room. I turn the book over and read the back— “An old fairytale, about two kids who are abandoned in a forest by their own parents.” I turn to read the title, Hansel and Gretel: An old fairytale. I walk over to the old sofa and begin to read the book. “How ironic,” I say to myself before opening the book.
After reaching the end of my goodbye visit I am carried away in a car with Talon and Laelia. Once we reach our destination I am greeted by a train; this train will send me to my death sentence. Stepping on the platform along with Talon, we enter the hovering transportation. The train was filled with rich leather and marble tables, carts filled with Capitol delights, mahogany furniture. Laelia sits in one of the love seats, Talon is looking out the window facing the very own thing that sent us into these games. I walk over to my District Partner and watch the view of District Five fade away into trees. We are now heading to the Capitol, I hear Talon faintly whisper his last goodbyes to our district, “That’s not our home anymore. They sent us in to die, Talon.”
