A ghost among my own memory

Finding joy vicariously

The ship has already set sail

For what I wanted to be

Looking in a mirror

I see the cracks in my smile

The thoughts grow ever so clearer

Maybe I could change in a while

Sacrificial lamb with one too many deaths

I bite off my tongue every time I’m stressed

Dance around the flames they watch me undress

Someone stop me now I’ve tried my very best

A black hole rests

inside my chest

I placed it there just so

It eats my breath

And spans the breadth

I thought you'd want to know

I'm feeding it the parts of me

You couldn't bring yourself to see

Emotional lobotomy

I euthanized the parts of me

You criticized relentlessly

A burning kind of ecstasy

Explore the ruins I used to fill with you
