Celebrating National Donut Day with a one hour glucose test! 😬👎🏼 It’s one of my least favorite things to do, having had gestational diabetes before, so I brought all my comfort items: @humblehilo dress, @birkenstock shoes, squishy-happy shawl, Kindle, and some knitting. (I carry really big purses.) If I pass this test, I’ve promised myself a 🍩 later to celebrate. 🙂 . . . In other news... we met with a Pediatric Surgeon and NICU staff in Pensacola earlier this week to discuss delivery options, etc. It seems our best option might be to deliver in August in Gainesville, about a 4hr drive from home, where they have the equipment and staff Lysander may need post-birth. Surgery, ECMO, and a lengthy NICU stay at the Children’s Hospital there will most likely be in our future.
