yknow random hc that's unsupported by anything but I'd like to imagine corbeau's first pair of glasses were given to him by lysandre. like yeah the probability of his eyesight only worsening after he started all his business ventures is way more likely but also im a sucker for like. unintentional medical neglect as a trope because between trying to survive out on the streets and keeping yourself fed you don't really pay attention to your vision worsening until you're squinting aggressively at a piece of paper glued to your face and someone has to go 'dude. dude. we gotta get your vision checked.'
anyway his resting angry menace face that makes him look intimidating as hell comes from him unconsciously squinting at everyone not because he wants to glare at them but because he cant goddamn see-
Also using the Pokémon Legends ZA hype to show off my Lysandre tattoo because my artist knocked it out of the park
Looking through my old Lysandre art and I was cooking with some of this stuff. I should go back in and redo these.
Maxie hugs if your still doing these? Or maybe some Lysandre?
I've actually already done Maxie! But of course I'll do Lysandre, thanks anon! <3
Also, fuck you tumblr for deleting an hour's worth of answering this ask the first time because I got a phone call.

LYSANDRE
-First things first. He's very selective about when he'll give hugs and who to. Giving hugs is always something done in a private setting, it's just who he is. He can't and won't hug people in a working environment, he's got a reputation as a businessman to uphold and it feels wrong and just. Doesn't happen.
-Actually, the most he tends to do as far as physical contact when in public with any friends or the like is he may put a hand on your back, arm or shoulder when walking with you. That's about it.
-In a more domestic or home environment though, especially at the end of the day? If you're seated on a sofa next to him or whatever and he's got an arm laid out over the back of it, it's okay if you opt to take the space next to him and lean or snuggle against him. His hand may drop from the back of the sofa to your shoulder. In a home setting, he doesn't mind. That's the most frequent kind of "hug" you'll get.
-When it comes to actual, proper hugs though? He prefers to know when they're going to happen. He doesn't per se want you to plan your hugs for him, but if you attempt to sneak attack him with one he's going to be kind of stiff and it'll be like trying to hug a statue. Just. Let him know a hug is going to happen first, he's not a fan of being ambushed with them.
-He doesn't tend to give out hugs just because he feels like it? Hugs either happen because either you've just achieved something that you've worked really hard for, or you are upset or need some kind of reassurance. It's not even that he doesn't like hugs, because that'd be untrue. He just prefers for any kind of affection that he gives, platonic or otherwise, to have meaning.
-That doesn't mean that he won't reciprocate any hugs you give him, though. Just don't sneak attack him with one, and don't try to hug him when he's working.
-His touch is naturally quite warm. Not necessarily toasty, but he's pleasantly warm to recieve a hug from.
-He's not really someone who squeezes a bunch when he gives hugs? He'll hold you firmly, though, and is someone that will rub either the back of your shoulder or upper arm.
-It's partially because he's decently muscular, but his hugs always feel quite grounding. You can never feel like you're going to float off when receiving a hug from him, and it actually doesn't matter that much that he doesn't squeeze hard because you'll end up feeling safe in his arms anyway.
-He's also someone that lightly taps that same spot if he feels like a hug has gone on for long enough. Again, it's not that he doesn't like hugs. But he's a busy person who often has places to be. Hugs from him tend to be short affairs.
-He always smells faintly of the fur on his jacket (it's real, of course, but ethically sourced. He cannot and will not support hideous practices.) and its pretty soft if you lean your face against it when you hug him. It's also pretty common for the scent of expresso from Lysandre Cafe to cling to his shirt if he's been there that day, and there's often a faint whiff of expensive cologne that follows him around too.
-If it happens to be at home that he's found you upset or crying, he'll sit you down on the sofa and offer you a silk handkerchief from his pocket. He's probably almost always got one with him. He'll do it whilst saying that you shouldn't sully your beauty with tears (or something like that, idk?) and offer some hot tea, once he's done that he'll join you and place an arm around you. He'll be willing to listen if you'd like him to, but he's another one who won't make you talk.
-If it's at his home, it's entirely likely that his Pyroar is going to come over and investigate, and either place his head in your lap or sit beside you with both paws in your lap. Pyroar is normally very strictly not allowed on the furniture (lbr, Pyroar has its own sofa which costs more than the average person makes in a year) but in this specific circumstance? Lysandre can overlook it.
-Because he's so much taller than the majority of the general population, its not likely that you'll be tall enough for him to rest his chin on your head or shoulder. He will lightly bow his head when giving a hug, though. And depending on the mood he might briefly close his eyes and smile.
