4. Has hockey inspired you to try any new activities (e.g. learning to skate)?
I don't think so. It has made me convince people to try ice skating though because I'll just be annoying until someone goes with me. I think if anything it just opened up my reading to books I wouldn't have usually picked up.
12. What’s the weirdest place you’ve watched a game?
I guess at work? If I'm in the non patron areas of the library and a game is on, I will sometimes put it on my phone instead of music to listen to while I work.
16. If you could change, add, or remove a rule from the game, what would it be?
Besides the obvious of clearly defined and enforced goalie interference as a replacement for the on a whim goalie interference calls being made now, I think the NHL should adopt the jailbreak rule where if the team in the box scores a short handed goal they get their own player out of the box.
19. Do you sacrifice sleep to watch games at late/early hours?
Sometimes! It depends on the game and exactly how early I have to get up in the morning.
24. Would you rather work for your team's social media (pitch/produce content) or general management (have a say in trades/drafting)?
I don't think I'd want to work in either. I wouldn't say no to an archivist position though. Just put me in the basement with all the old documents and photos and stuff and I'll be happy. I guess it would also have to include current day digital asset management too, but you can't win them all.
