B, C, and Q

B: A pairing you initially didn’t consider but someone changed your mind.

I mean, most of my minor Newsies ships are Matt's fault. Specs/Romeo especially.

C: A pairing you wish you shipped, but just can't.

Bluepulse in the Young Justice cartoon. It was all over the fandom, had very strong subtext, and was pretty cute. But I just couldn't do it. Bart is just too aro ace in my head. I never really felt comfortable shipping him with anyone.

Q: A ship you’ve abandoned and why.

Combeferre/Eponine, I guess. It used to be a big thing in the Les Mis fandom, and I never loved it, but it was cute. It kind of passed out of favor and I started shipping Combeferre/Jehan, and Eposette, so I've never looked back.

B:A pairing you initially didn’t consider but someone changed your mind. -Sprace. Originally I thought Spot was a loner and couldn't be shipped with anyone, but Race would actually be perfect for him. Race wouldn't fear Spot.

C:A pairing you wish you shipped, but just can't. Nuna. I think that I've always been kind of attached to the authorized post-Potter stuff that I read.

Q:A ship you’ve abandoned and why.- Neville/Hannah because it got so difficult to find fic, at least back when Deathly Hallows first came out. People also really shipped Nuna, and it was hard to find people to talk to about my ship. Now I just don't ship Neville with anyone.

Q, X, Z, and P.

Q- Quills. I love quill pens and the way that they feel in my hand when I'm writing with them. I need to get some more. And ink. Can't forget about the ink.

X- Xenophilius Lovegood. I don't like that he was willing to hand Harry over to the Death Eaters, but I understand why. He was trying to save his family, and Luna was really all he had after his wife died. Love is a powerful and vicious motivator, and out of all of the kinds of love portrayed in the series, parent-child (or lack thereof) is the most interesting to look for because it manifests itself in so many different ways.

Z- Zucchini. I have this amazing vegetable peeler that cuts it into long, thin strips. It's like spaghetti, but it's so much better for you. It's also really good grilled or in bread.

P- Patapsco Female Institute. This is the ruins of a Civil War-era girls' school, and a local Shakespeare company uses it for their performances. They also run a program for high school students, which I was fortunate enough to have been able to do this summer. I love the place and the people there. That's home, and they're family.
