A THING!!! uhhhh where do i even begin

i guess heres some things i didnt say about Doe in my initial post bc hes blorbo of the year;

- Doe is transmasc, he might’ve started transitioned before he lost his memories but if he did he doesn’t remember; doe had to figure it all out from scratch, he was initially referred to as “Jane” as in “Jane Doe” before realizing how weird it made him feel and politely asking to just be referred to by the surname until he figured out a better name/remembered his old one, the name eventually stuck.

- I imagine his name probably changes drastically depending on the game language, as he technically has no name at all, for the Japanese version he starts of as Hanako Yamada, then later just goes by Yamada, or Shika to keep with the deer theme

- Hes a busy body and goes through a lot of “phases” with what hobbies he likes. Its mostly part of his self exploration arc, the few hobbies that stuck with him are cooking, gardening, photography and reading (or like. research in general, he likes to go through rabbit holes lol), he also likes to sew though its not something he’ll pick up as often, and he much later on gets recognized by the guild for kinsect husbandry

- Hes going to be one of those wyverians that grows to be like 10-15ft tall, though he wont get like that till much later in life, hes around 5’10-11 right now

- Very strictly a “Catch and Release” type of hunter, all his hunts go towards the research of live specimens or are brought into captivity to be treated for sickness/injury and later released back into the wild

i like how we have a tendency to befriend literally anything and everything!

Like?? We took apex predators and made them our friends. Wolves are man’s best friend. Cats are the mascot of the internet. Snakes used to be feared but now we just call them danger noodles and nope ropes. Bears are so friend shaped we made them into toys for children to cuddle with. Hell we even think bugs are cute and cuddly to an extent! If the common folk came in contact with aliens the first thing we’d do is try to be their friend.

We have created entire programs to ensure that the creatures we share this earth with, no matter how small or insignificant , will never disappear and its working.

Hell we’d even get attached to inanimate objects!!

Humans are friends of the universe and i love them for that

Ængus’s exists in a universe where instead of Narinder being imprisoned by the Old Faith, it was Heket who was imprisoned.

Her followers, The Pigs, were starved to death rather than hunted. Their crops began to fail, their livestock grew ill or were killed. They ran out of food quickly. Anyone who tried to leave in search of more plentiful lands simply disappeared.

His people tried everything they could think of to hold on, Food was rationed, children were prioritized, but it did not matter. Without a sustainable food source, all they were doing was prolonging the inevitable.

Starvation is a disease within all of us. It’s kept in check when you eat. But what happens when you dont have anything left to give?

It takes. The hunger turns into a rot, and it will feast while you starve.

It eats your stomach, it eats your fat, it eats your muscle, it eats your muscles.

And soon it starts to eat your brain too.

Your mind unravels, thoughts blur together then those bleary thoughts blur with hunger then they simply become hunger.

All you know is hunger.

And when all you know is hunger anything can look like food.

Even your own

Hunger consumed Ængus long before death did. This is how he reached Heket, and they made a deal.

Start a cult in her name, and he would live a life of gluttony. His followers will never know hunger. Ængus would be granted power beyond his wildest dreams. The rot called starvation would never touch him again.

Ængus was born again, and with him came The Cult of the Hog

Howdy! you and the 2 other people who commented on my personal vent post are insane and only further proving my point about the erasure/silencing of transmascs.

No where did i say ANYTHING negative about trans woman, if anything im saying that we shouldn’t talk over their/your experiences and we should be allowed a space to talk about our specific experience as trans men/men who also have to deal with misogyny (which, because we are MEN its misandry, even if the oppressors don’t see us that way) as well!

Anyways. Trans woman are woman, trans woman deserve a voice just as much as transmen. I love you trans woman/transfems.

Tell me more about sabri and cyrus.... Who would they meet, what's their fave foods, hobbies? Odd biological quirks that come with being constructs? Like. Random little side effects of it, the stuff that gets over looked. Not the main stuff. Give me the DEETS

Uhhh heres a little tidbit, bone apple teeth

- Being a construct does come with weird quirks, though they function a bit differently compared to each other due to environmental circumstances, they are fundamentally the same concept.

- Both boys have enhanced senses, strength, endurance, and speed, more so than their modern day human counterparts, though there are some differences, the most noticeable one being how they function around food.

- Both of them need to eat, however its common for them to go days sometimes even weeks without food, especially if theres other sources of energy to keep them sated (which isn’t common as they feed off different types of energy)

- Cyrus was designed this way, as it was assumed that was the blueprint for humans from the beginning, but Sabri only developed the need to eat after he was captured by Cyrus’s creator (whose name i still need to figure out)

- Cyrus cant taste (this is a flaw in his genetics, he should have had taste), most of his enjoyment of food comes from smell and texture, which both senses are extra heightened as a compromise. He loves to cook but because he cant taste it and was never taught proper cooking standards, most of his dishes come out tasting horrendous, his food is either overly seasoned for the smell or burnt for the texture. Often times both.

- Meanwhile Sabri CAN taste, however he wasn’t intended to, as he wasn’t intended to eat either, as a result the wires in his brain are a little… crossed. He cant tell good tastes from bad tastes, and as a result he can, has and will eat literally anything you tell him is edible. Honestly he probably leans into it just to mess with people. Ya boy is chugging pure Wylk Ketchup just to fuck with you.

- Together they are a fatal cooking combo. Do not trust either of them to feed you, you will probably die.

- They also have a reduced need for sleep, though unlike eating, which helps them produce energy, sleeping only serves to conserve what energy they have, like sleep mode on a computer, they only find it necessary to sleep when resources are scarce, they would often take turns sleeping while the other went and searched for food to burn and keep watch for hunters

- That said, Cyrus hates sleeping, he would rather spend all his energy at once then refuel with an excessive amount of food than conserve it, though energy sources are easier to come by for him, so that contributes quite a bit to his reasoning

- Sabri meanwhile likes to take frequent naps so he only uses energy when he needs to. As a result he eats much less often than Cyrus, Who will eat 5 times in the time it takes for Sabri to need to eat 1 time. He requires a much more refined type of energy to sustain himself compared to Cyrus so conserving what he has is esp important.
