starter for @utterxdesires muse: hal for: laura

new in town and having performed in a few places as a dj as the divorced male who inherited a massive amount of money was now taking the time to enjoy life after being committed and dedicated to his work which hadn't been a dj but something in corporate while being emotionally manipulated and verbally assaulted in a toxic marriage. now on a fresh start, hal hadn't ran into any blockades in the form of negativity which would obstruct his desire to have fun until he came across the casino owner he would often see walking around having confronted him a few times about his guests and the music he played or the way he behaved wasn't professional but disrespectful.

finding her to be alluring as he was infatuated by her as his intentions would then formulate and come in the form of a mission to see if the woman was capable of enjoying life and having fun. performing tonight for two hours to a crowd of people on stage as a dj only to then finally finish up before another dj would come on stage to take over as scheduled with the event being live streamed. hal would approach the bar wiping the sweat from his forehead with the back of his forearm only for his eyes to then spot the familiar face of her standing in the corner. " liking what you see? didn't expect you to be someone who liked the club scene or are you just keeping an eye on me seeing if i slip up giving you the excuse to kick me out of your fine casino. " a cocky wide smile beamed onto his lips. a waiter approached with two drinks on a tray to which he would grab only to then hand her the dry martini with olives. teasing her was his agenda as he would then move himself to stand right beside her. " you know people usually dance at these things. if you want after finishing our drinks i can dance with you? " bringing the glass to his lips he then took a sip and grimaced at the strong taste of alcohol. other hand brushed fingers through the locks on the back of his head.
