You sigh and stretch out your arms, bending slightly just to ease the growing tension on your lower back. With the boxes all packed out, you walk towards your room and stare at yourself, preparing for the worst. It's been three months since you last saw Taehyung. Three months of gruelling, heart-wrenching pain. Though the break-up was mutual, it was most definitely not wanted. It's been consecutive nights of either ignoring each other and then it just snapped.

Both of you spoke with your heads clouded in anger and as the other initiated a break-up, you egged him on and agreed. After that, neither of your wounded prides really wanted to say sorry and so you closed that chapter of your life— the chapter that was filled with Kim Taehyung.

A knock on your door brought you back to earth and with a sigh, you trudged to open it, revealing the man you've been waiting for. You knew he was only here to retrieve the boxes of things he owned, but you'd like to imagine that he was here for another reason— perhaps to say sorry. However, instead of an apology, you got a stern face, something dark stirring behind his brown orbs.

"Your boxes are already packed. If you need help putting them in your car, just let me know and I'll call up security." You murmured, stepping aside. With a sigh, he closed his eyes and slammed his fist sideways against the door, making you flinch.

"When were you gonna tell me?"

"About what?" You tentatively answered, biting your lip. "About the baby." He replied, looking as though he was offended. Fuck, Jimin must have babbled it to him. You couldn't really answer because how could you? You realize you've been pregnant for the same amount that he's been gone and nothing could ever excuse you not telling him about his child. "I was.. I was convinced you didn't want anything to do with it." He only sighs at your answer, eyebrows angling down in sadness. "I missed your first trimester with our baby.. That's my child too how could I want nothing to do with that?" You call out his name but he cuts you off with a kiss, sighing softly.

"I'm willing to try again, Y/N. For you.. and our kid."

twin girls and a baby boy

kim chae and kim lily, 4 years old; and baby kim rumi, just turned 1

taehyung loves kids he loves having three babies to take care of and love

and he loves seeing them take care of each other

he and his kids are best friends, and his kids are all besties with each other that’s how it rolls in this household

ok let’s start with the twin girls

they’re kind of complex; they can be very playful or very reserved

more shy when it comes to new people, but they warm up to strangers very quickly

pick up on tae’s love for art and art very visual learners

even from a young age tae probably couldn’t resist taking them to museums and by the time they’re four or five they love it

even tho museums are quiet place and most kids think they’re boring the twins love all the pretty colors

plus bonding time with papa

they’re truly taehyung’s best friends

he dreads they day you have to start sending them to school and he doesn’t get to spend all day with them

taehyung likes helping them out whenever he can

holding they’re hands when they’re walking

carrying them around

playing house with them

going to the park

tying their shoes

braids their hair

packing their lunches

you know that post of that girl who said her dad packed her a peeled orange every day since kindergarten

that’s taehyung

except that post ends with girls’ dad leaving her an unpeeled orange and instructions on how to peel it on her last day of highschool, but taehyung would probably go so far as to send them peeled oranges in university

puts them in matching outfits whenever possible

and tae let’s them dress him up too 

and sometimes he forgets and just walks into the studio for practice and namjoon is like “um… tae? is there a reason there nine buckets of glitter in your hair?”

really likes taking them to the red carpet

even tho they’re shy he loves being with his family and showing the world his little family

giggly little girls!!

they might not be as rambunctious as the jeon twins, but they’re just as happy and smiley and so so giggly

these girls will laugh and smile at a n y t h i n g

the twins have taehyung’s boxy smile

and he loves it so much?

like say tae never really liked his smile or was insecure for some reason, seeing his little girls grin so wide in the same semi rectangular fashion would make him so happy

because they’re just like him!!

and they smile all the time which means they must love smiling and if they have the same smiles then they must love his smile too!! and he’s grown to love it and them

now on to baby kim

the twins are so protective of their younger brother :’)

“daddy be careful!!!” “don’t drop him daddy!!” “no uncle jin he only likes chocolate milk before bedtime!!” “daddy can we read him the bedtime story pleeaaaaaaase!!!” “no he wants to play with us uncle kook!!”

you can’t help but sit back and giggle bc hello he raised them and they’re like four but they don’t care they don’t want anything to happen to their precious little brother

insist on doing anything to help out with baby boy (even tho they’re still babies themselves)

will volunteer to feed him and play with him and watch him

and it just warms yours and tae’s hearts that they love each other so much and are already looking out for each other

uncle namjoon!!

all of the kids take a liking to namjoon tbh bc he’s also quiet and reserved but really smart and silly 

even baby boy likes uncle joon

uncle joon reads them bedtime stories and lets them draw on him and climb on him and play with his hair

and namjoon always sends tae the pics of their makeovers and it melts his heart

taehyung’s favorite part of the day is bedtime

because bedtime means bubble baths and cartoons and warm milk

and a big cuddle pile with his three girls and his lovely baby boy

it’s his favorite way to end the day
