♪ a lyric-based starter for Eden and Litely & @flawedwrites !
Sitting on the stairs to the back porch at her cousin’s place, because she was still there (or back there, depending how you looked at it, because she had definitely disappeared for a few days on what may or may not have been a New Years bender), Litely idly spun her lighter between nimble fingers. Being inside had started to feel suffocating, but that’s what happened when she was stuck between four walls for any extended period of time. Hearing the door open, she braced herself on her arms and tilted her head backwards. “Well well.” She uttered, delight all but clear in her voice as she saw Eden. “Isn’t that sweet, you came to keep me company.” Angling her body to better see the older woman, she settled her gaze on her then held up the joint in her other hand. “Want some? A little trouble only makes for a good time.”
Though her attitude was never the best, not by a long stretch, Litely found herself in a particularly bad mood that afternoon. It seemed whatever could go wrong, would go wrong. And she hadn’t even had a drink yet - which is what she was currently on her way to remedy. And by remedy, she did mean get absolutely wasted. If only the human sidewalk hogger in front of her would hurry up. “Excuse me.” Voice sickly sweet, she finally gave in and addressed the other woman. “I was wondering...” Patience growing impossibly slimmer, she dropped any charade. “If you could move the fuck out of the way.”
So used to being up at night, Litely hadn’t even bothered trying to sleep. Instead, she’d found her way to the nearest bar and was enjoying the tipsy feeling provided by the alcohol she’d consumed so far. Ordering herself another drink, she waited as patiently as was in her nature to do so for the bartender to return with it. Glass in hand, she turned to head back to the table she had been inhabiting, only to collide with another body. Liquid spilling over both of them, the force had her taking a step back before she regained her footing. “Excuse you.” The petite woman bit out, eyes narrowing at the culprit in a glare.
(stripper) litely larue (29, she/her, cis female). we hear litely is confident, courageous and self-reliant, but can also be abrasive, reckless and resentful. (jessica parker kennedy)
born the second youngest and only girl, litely grew up with two older brothers (one her twin) and a younger brother. they were raised by their parents - their mother in the military and their father running a garage from home with his brother so he could look after them. they were a loving family and, ignoring her mother's absences, a normal family.
until her mother died serving, that is. her father all but lost himself in alcohol, and it seemed the bond between the four siblings all but completely disappeared. the only one she really talked to at all was her twin. finishing high school, she enlisted just like her mother - and older brother, and twin. only her father had an issue with her doing it specifically. their relationship suffered even further for it.
and it only worsened when news reached them that her brother, her twin, had died too. back home for the funeral, drunk beyond belief she let slip a fact she'd known for years - she was gay. whatever love or connection was left shattered with the vase he threw at her when he found out. that was the day she cut her whole family out and moved on with her life - law breaking, a few arrests and a dishonourable discharge included.
☠ used to be a straight A student at school. she was completely different back then. a wallflower, quiet... that part of her doesn’t exist at all anymore
☠ she genuinely does not give a flying fuck about other peoples feelings. str8 up savage but in a gay way
☠ will use people, big fan of manipulation. a horrible person living her best hoe life
☠ enjoys fighting hard and fucking harder, no long walks on the beach
☠ will fight anyone, she dgaf
☠ she’s like elsa; the cold never bothered her anyway. aka she doesn’t feel it
☠ used to work as a stunt double after she got served her dishonourable discharge. loved it. moved on from it. loves stripping
☠ literally always some sort of high or at least drunk, if not both. makes it a habit to go to the places she knows she can have a bit of fun
connections? fwb (as in frenemies). enemies w/ benefits. people she pisses off in general? maybe someone from her younger years who’s like ‘whoa u’ve ch@nged’ idk but she’s here for that sweet, sweet drama
“And ruin this outfit?” Litely scoffed, gesturing to her scantily clad body. Her pride would be the death of her, or so she’d been told numerous times by now. Accepting the jacket would be like admitting defeat, and that sure as hell wasn’t something she was willing to do. Injured or not, cold or not, she’d never let herself rely on somebody else, not so easily - even over something as minuscule as this likely was to anyone else. Her pride was on par with her stubbornness, she had some sort of reputation to uphold. She didn’t need anyone caring about her, she’d done just fine on her own.
