Her gaze wasn’t angry, but she was looking at the other female with displeasure in her chartreuse orbs. Ayaka wasn’t fond of people touching her, and Naomi was overstepping a few boundaries by placing her hand over the redhead’s mouth. She had just been about to share her latest customer story, too.

One crimson eyebrow slowly rose, eyes posing the question, “What are you doing?”

     “No one is sitting here, right?” 

It was a simple question, lacking any sort of real desire to sit beside the other female. Her tone came off somewhat cold -- a result of her annoyance towards the gaggle of gossiping teens she had encountered upon entering the classroom for the first time. Ayaka wanted a quiet first day back to school; she hardly wanted to deal with ridiculous rumors, but those kids had irked her. So what was the redhead going to do? Make friends with the subject of her classmates’ gossip, of course. 

That being said, the young Akiyama tried to push away her annoyance and attempted a small, friendly smile.

     “Would it be alright if I sat beside you?”
