“There --- there are a lot of ghosts here.”
“look I got no sleep last night, and i feel like i’m hungover, so you can say whatever you need to just do it like – three octaves quieter. it sounds like you’re screaming and i sort of want to strangle you for some quiet.”

“i’m supposed to be here,” is the first thing that blurts out of her mouth. it’s not precisely a lie, but the truth is a lot more complicated than that. there’s no real way to ease someone into a haunting, or else she’d be doing this for cash. as long as nobody here starts asking questions, suze won’t have a problem. or not much of a problem.

“is it just me, or is this class even more boring than usual,” the gryffindor sighs, scratching away doodles in the corner of her book. if she stops doodling, she’ll probably fall asleep. though suze can’t say that’d be much of a waste.

“you’re gonna wanna take my word for this,” the girl says, managing to keep her voice calm, and not the urgent she feels the situation warrants. “but that light above your head is about to fall on you.”

she peers at the other over her mug, considering things. she’s not a psychic, so she doesn’t know what he wants, but from his appearance, suze can only assume it’s the same thing everyone else wants from her. suze sets the mug down, with a sigh. “so -- poltergeist? wanna talk to a dead loved one?” brows raise as she crosses her arms about the table. “need someone to tell the ghost to get the fuck out?”
