Well, She would only find out that she was knocked up, AFTER the race and all.

and by then she was just all like...

You may think it would be better if she won the race thanks to the resorces she would get.

But It’s actually rather bad for her because she doesn’t really want the public knowing she’s a pregnant unwed woman.

Which is why she would run away with Rina back to her home in New Orleans and went from there.

She felt sad about losing contact with her close friends, but she thinks that’s what they would’ve wanted.

It’s better that she doesn’t make things awkward and/or get in the way of them

To pass off her pregnancy to anyone who asks, She tell of a man whom she was going to marry who tragically died before they could, and she claims Rina is the poor man’s sister, which is why they now live together, as her “brother” can’t provide her anymore (The fake man’s parents had died a while ago)

She’d likely get less scritiny for having an early adventure with a fiance than her fucking her male friend. [You know, “they” were “going to be married soon anyway” so it doesn’t seem as icky as just sleeping around {not that there’s actually anything wrong with that} “they” were just too excited]

She says the time she spent away from the public was her morning, when really, she was just panicing in her house while Rina took care of her. (She wasn’t really panicking, she was just sitting there and going fuuuuuuuuck)

It’s not that she’s ashamed of this or upset about her child Reese, nonono.

She’s just not sure how to handle this, or even if this could be a good place to raise a kid since their dad’s not around. But she resolves that she wants to have the kid and she’s going to love them. She figured she could manage.

Fun Fact: The reason Reese is more attached to M&M as opposed to Rina is for the first part of his life, Rina and M&M weren’t officially lover, or at least they didn’t make it seem like they were, so Rina came off more like an nanny than his other mother. But as time passed M&M and Rina figured out their feelings and went from really good friends to historical “really good friends” and Reese, being older, say this and saw Rina as her other mama. Though M&M would always be mama #1 in his mind, you know how it is.
