Could you do prompt 2 with Mark Scheifele
“that lipstick’s not gonna stay put for long.”
it was friday night date night for you, mark, and another couple from the team. you all decided it would be nice to have a relaxed double date, given that you all wanted some time away from your busy lives.
yet somehow, you still found yourself stressing over the smallest things. you were almost ready to go, you chose your most flattering attire. something tight, that hugged your body in all the right ways. something you knew would drive mark insane. hair was done and you were all made up except for one thing.
“y/n, are you ready to go?” mark asked from the bathroom across your bedroom.
“almost!” you yelled back, searching through your makeup bag.
you hadn’t noticed, but mark was now leaning up against the door frame, eyeing your body up and down with his bottom lip between his teeth. you look up into your dressers mirror and chuckled at mark.
“are you gonna keep staring, or do you wanna come help me?”
he rolled his eyes and licked the inside of his cheek, strolling over to you. he stood behind you and placed his hands on your waist, looking over your shoulder to try and see what you were looking for. you continued digging though the bag, looking for the perfect shade.
“baby, we have to go” he mumbled, resting his chin on your shoulder from behind you. he impatiently started to sway your bodies side to side, snaking his hands entirely around your waist.
“is red too harsh? should i go with something more neutral?” you asked, not even paying attention to his actions.
“red is sexy” he hummed into your ear before nipping at the exposed skin of your neck. you laughed at him and playfully pushed his face away.
“maybe too sexy, actually.” he spoke, more or less to himself.
“you are no help” you sighed, dropping the red one back into the bag.
mark turned you around so you were facing him, foreheads pressed to each others softly. you rested your arms over his broad shoulders looking up into icy blue eyes.
“honey, no matter which one you choose, if you keep me waiting, that lipstick’s not gonna stay put for long”
Scheif has a girlfriend. He’s taken.
