Mannlicher M1905 - 7.63x25mm
Some of my M1903 Springfield and M1 Garand bayonets.
The top one is an original, wooden handle 16" M1905 bayonet manufacturered in 1920. It's so original that it has not been arsenal modified to fit the Garand (by reaming open the muzzle ring a bit).
Below that is a cut-down M1905E1 with the spear top.
On the bottom is another cut-down M1905E1 with the Bowie tip. I found this one in NOS condition, still wrapped in the arsenal wax paper, thoroughly coated in Cosmoline.
New m1905 bayonet vs 2 ka-bars and my EDC pocket knife (and a PS4 controller)
New Paper Craft: FN Model 1905 Pistol Free Paper Model Download
New Papercraft has been published on PaperCraftSquare: Link: http://www.papercraftsquare.com/fn-model-1905-pistol-free-paper-model-download.html Paper Craft Name: FN Model 1905 Pistol Free Paper Model Download Description:
This paper model is a FN Model 1905 (often referred to as the FN Model 1906 in European countries due to its date of manufacture, as opposed to its patent date which “1905″ refers to), the papercraft is created by ruthus18.
The FN Model 1905 pistol is virtually identical to the Colt Model 1908 Vest Pocket, which was based on the same John Browning prototype, and was the inspiration for FN’s later Baby Browning design. Although Browning’s handgun patents were sold to both FN and Colt, this was the only case in which both companies put the same design into production without any significant modification. FN M1906 Vest Pocket
Browning's 6.35x16mm (.25 ACP)
This piece is not pretty on the outside but functions fine. This model is sometimes called the M1905 Type.II (the Type.I lacks the manual safety). It is more common to find this labeled as an M1906 as it was the year of its release, rather than the patent year of M1905. The Colt M1908 Vest Pocket is virtually identical and I've even had limited success with Colt magazines in this gun.
