Got to disassemble and reassemble this thing with permission from my customer who happens to be a friend. The M249 is iconic, though most people who have served and used one seem to hate it; my cousin was a SAW gunner during his tours in the Helmand Province. It’s a gorgeous gun but for the price I’ve kind of gotten turned off from semi-auto belt-feds. (GRH)

MEDIA DAY AT THE RANGE WITH FNH USA

My next stop at the range was the FNH exhibit. There I was hoping to get hands on their Military Collectors Series. There are three systems that make up the series: M4, M16 and M249S; all of which are street legal replicas of the real McCoy. All of the series member are excellent but the M249S was a hell of a lot of fun. Visitors also had an opportunity to fire the actual 249 SAW.
