"oi, i'm older. shouldn't that be my line?" seems like it should be. a little bit of brashness covers the fact that she's scared. she doesn't want to be. it sits like a weight in her chest, a falling rock. "you don't have to worry about me. you've seen me out before, i'm good." she's rattled, but she's good. last time they were on a trip together, they were separated. donna plans to make damn sure that doesn't happen again. "so you're safe with me. and don't get stuck behind falling stone this time."
