"WHEN THE WORLD NEEDED HEROES, THEY GOT NONE NEIN"
Guys..... I hate to break it to you but I'm pretty sure Verin was just part of an alternate reality in the beacon... 😔
I am so here for all the complexities of Kryn Dynasty politics I am being FED.
It's approached with such intricacy and from so many different angles and never simplified down to just good/evil and it's so so interesting. Wish I had more coherent thoughts on it other than just. I LOVE.
So we agree episode 8 of The Mighty Nein will correspond to events of episode 2x26 of the campaign right?
actually the latinamerican dub has amazing stuff if you have ears to listen. upon fjord saying "is it bad?" jester originally says "bad is so negative,, how about we just say 'impressively gruesome'? 😀"
here, jester's silly lighthearted description of fjords horrible poison situation is "how about we say,, it destroyed your lil belly :3?"
aaand also I was gonna say I don't like the way that Owelia is just. ok well I was going to say cartoonishly evil but that seems like a stupid thing to say. but what I mean is I don't like the trend in general where people treat Caleb (and sometimes Astrid and Wulf) as uniquely moral amongst the volstrucker. like they're tortured and conflicted and have regrets about their actions but are trapped and have no where else to turn so are forced to keep doing it. but then every single other volstrucker is just ontologically evil and loves killing people for fun. and eating maggots or whatever else was going on there.
