Are any of the howling commandos still alive?

One is. Happy. He’s the only one left besides Buck and I. I went to see him after I woke up, and we had a nice time. I miss them though. Miss the old days.

What was going through your head when the guardians began to turn to ash (and Peter hadnt yet)

I had a hope. The smallest little hope that Steve was going to pull something off- some last miracle down on Earth.

And then the guardians started to vanish, and… that hope died.

I started thinking about all the people I might lose, and I hoped- again- that he’d take me before he took any one of them. Pepper, Happy, Rhodes….

Pete- he was just.. he was right there. He was right next to me, and he was fine. I thought-

…I thought we were safe.

Does Pepper, Rhodey and Happy also know of you and Pete being together Tony? Is there anyone else on your side that knows of the relationship?

They’re the only ones that know, yeah.

If I were in contact in Bruce, I’d go ahead and let him in on our little secret, but it looks like that’s out of the cards, for now.

Pepper how are you feeling? What happened down on earth?

Better? …And worse, now that Tony’s back.

I did what I always do with Iron Man. I went home, and I waited by the phone. And when the news broke, I went to the Avengers facility.

Rhodey was there, and I knew Happy was fine, but we all thought we had lost Tony.

what do you guys do on happy days?

I don’t usually have “Happy” days, anymore. Pep’s the one who got custody of him in the divorce.

Not even funny a funny dad joke, Tony.

I think we usually just mess around at the facility. It’s the closest we can get to being in public and “together”, so anything there is good.
