I have 27 pages left in this journal and that feels so magical (I've been writing in it since 2021 but really seriously committed to getting back to writing in this year, with the addition of sticking things in so it's like half long form writing and half junk journalling, but it's been so so good to me)

I also went to the library and I have about 12000 project ideas right now (which is good and bad) and I've been actually finding sources for my final essays today and it's just been such a good day. This is a good vibes post and I hope they come your way too.

Was at work again this morning, just did my normal 6hrs, didn't stay late, so I have a bit of time this evening to get some things done! Got the heating turned right up because it has been snowing all day, and now I'm curious about what weather everyone else has right now?

Help Me Pay for Summer Tuition

Boozhoo! Aaniin! (Hello) I am an Indigenous Student studying my traditional language in an M.A. program. I hope to create free resources guided toward self-learning for many communities and individuals to use.

Despite taking no classes in the summer, my institution requires M.A. students to pay summer tuition, which is a whooping 3k! This was quite a surprise to me. I do have student-loans, but their funding does not cover summer tuition. I also have a job, but on top of rent and expenses, it's hard to make enough. I am posting here to ask for help. Any donation helps, no matter how small, will greatly help me. I know I am literally one of tens of thousands of students who ask for charity, and my cause is no more important than theirs. I just hope that there are some people out there who have a little extra to spare, and who resonate with my struggle.

Today I got a paper back and despite the good grade, I’m really bummed out because I expected a little more. Regardless, I finished an essay I had due tomorrow, read a little of my current read, and meal prepped for the rest of the week! It was a really decent day 🩷

Staying inside and staying warm!! I've been spending my study days in my neighbor's empty connected apartment to get out of my lonely room during the day. Reading Week is not as productive as I hoped so far smh.
