Mortality - Maargolt AU
After over nine hundred years of wandering Nirn, one would expect life to get boring and predictable. And, in some ways, it was. Wesa Ra had lived through the rise and fall of the Septim dynasty, the Warp in the West, and two Daedric invasions. There was one constant he had learned through it all, and it was that Tamriel would never be a land of peace. For better or worse, Sithis’ grip on this world was strong, and change was always inevitable.
Yet, despite all this, he still had hope the two could return to how life was all those years ago. Free of Coldharbour’s grip, wandering Tamriel aimlessly together. And for the first time in seven hundred years, that hope was close to becoming a reality. Subene’s efforts had finally began to yield results, and Adurheri could finally be whole again. True, there would still be plenty of work until it was ready, but it didn’t matter to him. Adurheri could finally get what she wanted- freedom.
Which was what made this decision all the more difficult.
The Argonian slipped the letter under Subene’s door and knocked, scampering back to his room before Adurheri woke. With any luck, the lich would honor his request and leave Wesa Ra confined to Oblivion upon death.
