Right now, in my country, an Olympic swimmer who has survived cancer has committed to swimming 200 km (around 150 miles I guess), a special route in Dutch culture and tradition. He has already swum more than 100 km and raised more than a million euros for cancer research.
This guy is a hero. His name is Maarten van der Weijden. Respect!
