*Smart guy grabs the ball and runs off to give it to the Gua, hoping to be rewarded.*

Cade: Ahh, you betrayed me!

Delek: Well, he’s an idiot.

Cade: He’s a genius.

Delek: Someone died here just due to being near the mind ball. You collapsed the moment you held it. How far does he think he can get with it?

I'm not a genius by any means, but I have a hunch "Mabus" stands for Abu Mas, a disputed island where many modern archetypal ills have converged. Otherwise, I'm not one to give much thought to the predicator. A rough translation is that: At what was Abu Mas, will then die as will come, a horrible defeat by men and Beast, then all of a sudden vengeance we'll see - blood, begging, thirst and hunger, when the comet* will run.

Also, other end times narratives speak of a plot hatched in Paris some say, to bring down a monarch in Persia. Many plots have been hatched from Paris (though not so much by monarchs but deceitful wannabes). Let me get that quote.

Here goes:

"Pluys, faim, guerre en Perse non cessé,

La foy trop grande trahira le Monarque,

Par la finie en Gaule commencee,

Secret augure pour un estre parque."

Rough translation:

Non-stop rain, hunger and war in Persia/Iran, too great a faith/religion will undo a (male) monarch, ended as begun by Gaul/France, (a sign of the secret framing of someone*)
