Am I the asshole for telling my ex that I want them back?

I (20 M) and my ex (20 NB) broke up in April. We'd grown apart and I met someone else so I ended things but we'd been together for five years and knew each other since we were kids. They were really hurt and I feel shitty about it.

Things didn't work out with the new girl. I realized I still had feelings for my ex.

We reunited at my brother's wedding and I told them how I feel.

They said it was too late. They were ao angry with me and I don't get why.

But then we hooked up after the wedding.

So am I the asshole for not giving up on getting back together?

MacCready, have you ever run across anyone you grew up with since having Duncan? Is there anyone from Little Lamplight you miss?

Well, after Maya rescued them from Paradise Falls, I did hang out with Sammy and Squirrel a little more, and then once Bumble was less scared, I did try to talk to her. Now that I think about it, she should be around sixteen. Wonder how she's doing....

But Maya has helped out a lot after I left Lamplight. When Lucy passed... I ran to her. I might have been kind of an ass to her when we met, but she's like my sister. I'm glad she came down that path and made that butt joke, heheh.

All in all though, maybe a few people have called my name in passing, but time just kinda makes you forget. I didn't know absolutely everybody back then, but I guess they knew me. Dunno if that's fame or not.
