Silver and Brown Glam Eye (88 Warm Palette)
Brown is often paired with warm tones like gold, amber, beige, pink and copper. The more daring looks will pair it with contrasting shades like teal, aqua, blue, purple, green, etc.
But it just struck me that I personally have NEVER worn a deep dark brown with strong silver before, and I like how chocolate brown can make true silver a little less harsh, and wearable for pretty much all skin tones.
I'm using the 88 Warm palette (I'm giving 2 away free!), but you can use any dark metallic brown and silver you own.
Step 1: I'm using a black cream/gel base (MAC Blackground Paintpot) sheered out so it's not such a heavy black. This is not a cat-eye look, so I did not wing it out.
Step 2: Apply dark chocolate brown over the outer 1/3 of the dark base, and sweep up along the socket using a small blending brush. The brown will not be very visible at this point.
Step 3: Pack a metallic silver over the inner 2/3 of the lid, blending into the dark brown. You can use silver pigment for an even more dramatic look.
Step 4: Apply dark brown liner along the lash line and false lashes or mascara to finish!
