I was thinking about this fall out boy lyric earlier today. And I had a revelation!

I think I’ve always been thrown off this verse because i took it as “oh i should love you but i just dont!!” but earlier today on the bus to work. I thought of it as “I am MEANT to love you” and im like wow. And I was thinking in my mind, “which one is it really?” but just now on my break. I thought, what if its meant to be both? double meaning within one phrase! omgee!

Chills. Literal chills. I love fall out boy’s lyrics so much, they really are my favorite lyricists.

after far too many months i've finally finished Dark Fire from The Last Dragon Chronicles ! which is delightful because this reread has taken me far too long But that is not what i am here to ramble about

i will never forget this one discord friend i had years ago. he was in a local catholic school, we were on a [Area] Gays Discord Server together. and i mentioned this series is my favorite because it has Dragon Jesus, metaphysics, and weird spiritual shit. and shapeshifting cats. did i mention the Holy Trinity but dragons? anyhoo, i was delighted to recieve a dm from this person about their 40-minute ted talk that covers all the ways Chris D'Lacey rewrote the bible with dragons in 2010s british suburbia. and He Wrote This Series As A Result Of Too Much Research About Polar Bears And Inuit Mythology. what the fuck. i'm so happy this book series is for children. i can't wait to read the next book where david rain's special dragon hit the restart button on the universe.
