Imogen moved over to Laudna, letting gloved hands rest on the other woman’s shoulders. “How are you feelin’ right now?” She asked keeping an eye on Laudna’s face. “Are you hungry at all?” Imogen was more than willing to help feed Laudna if the other needed it.

                       Clasping her hands together under her chin, Imogen smiles, eyes and nose wrinkling a little bit. It’s been so long since things felt normal between them, or at least it’s felt like it was so long, that smiling feels brand new. “Of course it’ll be you and me, Laudna,” she nods, “no matter what. You’re my best friend, and I hated fightin’ with you, so even if you tell me to go away, well... you’re just gonna have to work harder.”

He looks up at her, because he is always looking up at people, but he is always looking up to those around him in a far more personal meaning too, “Because of what happened, or something else?” he asked. He paused for a moment and then added, “I think you’ll go far, you can do all these things, and if you don’t go farther than me, well--- I’ll make sure you do.” He said in an optimistic tone, that made the morbidity of the statement fly over heads. Would it also fly over Laudna’s who knew. For as content as Orym was, and he truly was, their was something underlying in the selfless way Orym viewed himself as. And it was almost tragic.

Imogen’s cheeks immediately flare with a white hot heat. The tender pink is only complimented by the lavender of her hair, painting a delicate portrait that anyone would love. Yet the unconventional dark knight has won her favor in ways Imogen never expected. She places a hand on her hip and hums lightly. “I think that happens quite a lot actually. Isn’t the thing we’re not supposed to have the thing we always seem to want?” she asks. She wants to be the one riding the horses, for instance, saving the world for herself.

She reaches out a hand to Laudna’s cheek. “I can keep a secret as well as any commoner.”

                        Her breath catches in her throat for just a second, but it is a second that feels long enough to be obvious. Imogen Temult has always been good at keeping appearances, at playing the part. She smiled at people back in her town, exchanged pleasantries as she listened to the worst thoughts imaginable, and then some. With time, she became an expert.

“Right,” she blinks, putting on a smile as she scoots over to make room for Laudna, “things... have been pretty strange lately, haven’t they? Dusk seems fun, though.”

Imogen hadn’t expect the kiss but that didn’t stop her from returning it just as fiercely. She had thought Laudna was gone, that she had lost her, and lost whatever chance she had with the emotions blooming in her chest that she didn't know what to do with. She slowly pulled from the kiss, letting their foreheads rest against each other. "Hey Darlin'"

“Do you? What was I going to say then?” Fearne asked as she placed on hand on her hip, the other playing with the small flowers in Laudna’s hair.

If anything could have been a perfect date it would have been this. The picnic was away from any other minds that could press against Imogen, though any date with Laudna she would have considered perfect.  "This is lovely darlin'." She spoke as she relaxed against the blanket that had been laid out. "I love it."
