Ashton shrugs off her compliment quite literally. They really don’t know if they agree. “Yeah, well I definitely deserve better alcohol than this shit,” they reply, flagging down the bar keep. Fearne is just a nice person, he reasons, and that is a nice thing to say.
They lean forward with a frown. “That’s fucking awful. I wish they’d seen what an awesome person you are for you,” he says. They hate when people don’t like them for who they are. “You deserve something nice too–wayyy better than me.” Ashton is well aware how out of their league Fearne is.
Fearne let an eyebrow raise, shifting to prop up jer head with her hand as she looked at the barbarian. "But you are a good catch honestly. You are a good fighter, a good friend, and you are very pretty." It took effort not to trace some of the gold on his skin.
The bar keep refils both their drinks and Fearne takes a sip. "And you let me take things from you and you take things from me." It felt more like home, having someone indulge her like that had made her feel warm and content.
