Definitely not thinking about these pictures.
I want to take my sweet prince on a small boat trip. Nothing grand, just a little wooden boat with a few benches, sunny warm weather, water shimmering in the ponds and channels of the park surrounding the palace, birds are chirping in the trees, lilacs and mock-oranges are in bloom and a light breeze brings their sweet smell.
I'm on the paddles, and watching his highness, as he sits across me, under his lace white umbrella, sometimes leaning to put his hand into the water or standing up to reach for a flower tree branch hanging from the shore. Little do I know that he's also watching me. As the sun starts burning and lose my jacket, loosen my collar and roll up my sleeves, as I push my hair up from my forehead and then keep rowing the boat. Then our eyes finally meet and I chuckle as he starts blushing, while blaming it on the warmth of the sun.
One of my favourite tropes is: a dark, scary, brooding person is actually good and protective and kind.
Like, I want people to think I'm a dark wizard, a bastard of a nearby tyrant or criminal on the run, who has somehow entranced the young naive prince to trust me and keep me close. When in fact the prince is a little menace and a danger to himself and society and I'm one of the only things keeping him together.
I fell down a rabbit hole of pose references Pinterest.
And found this.
And well... Umm... You know?
Hi hi! So I found a few things that reminded me of the Macadamia Kingdom pinboard and since you’re always sending me pretty dresses I thought I’d send something that you might like:
That's definitely the style! I love these - especially the last one (probably because it's the darkest :)).
To be completely frank with you, every time I go to my Pinterest now, I just dress Prince Anatole up like a doll in my head.
Hmm yes but saying it in a love letter is so much fun my dear!!
Alright, alright, your Highness.
*brings you more ink as well*
Both are good options, I’m tempted to say facing straight so that I can look them head on still. I can already imagine the shock on their faces, especially when you do wrap an arm around my waist or look over my shoulder at paperwork
Sounds very good indeed, your Highness.
