My Advent calendar this year, from Lumene. I'm so happy to have a bit of Finland everyday. I miss it dearly.
This beauty is full of skincare products, which smell different than French ones, in subtle but noticeable ways.

Autumn is like a nice thick blanket of darkness that wraps itself on me like a comforting hug, bringing me secrecy and quiet.
Yes, please do let me hide under a Halloween disguise, let me wear soft sweaters, plushy scarves, black coats and boots. Do cover me in falling leaves, early nights and witchy fog. Do hide my voice and words behind singing crows and the sound of the rain hitting against windows and roofs.
Coffee of October : Nuts ! (Lille, France).
I'm fond of these pretty shapes I sometimes find on top of my drink. They're endearing in their own simple way. I should learn how to make some at home.
My cafés in December:
Café Françoise, in Lille
Café Coutumes, on the second floor of the Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, in Paris
I did it! I visited at least one new café per month this year! It was not that difficult, actually, and it was worth it. Now I look forward to starting a new challenge of that type in 2026 to challenge me to further enjoy life and new experiences.

I ordered a cold pistachio latte in this nice Dutch café which sells specialty coffee. They were also selling honey and thyme cheesecake but on that day it felt a bit too much (I wish I had tasted it though, maybe I should try making one myself).
The first flowers of Spring.
I am delighted by the sight of blossoming trees and bushes. Nature is being brought back to life and I watch this phenomenon with great enthusiasm.

I don't know why, but I love a good brunch.
