Bellatrix first saw Mary through a sea of fourth year girls; she could smell the mud on her from leagues away, even as she listened to her fellow Purebloods sneer down at her and her gaggle of mudbloods and sympathizers. Mulciber had ‘claimed’ her first - but she never played by his rules. She’d not paid her much attention, to be truthful, but once she realized that it was something akin to a sport to get a rise out of her, and out of her little friends, there was no letting go, no letting loose the claws that crept closer. She thought that Mary was pretty - but in the way a shiny bauble is pretty to a cat. Something to be eaten.
Their current impression:
Her opinion of Mary is similar to her first impression, if not more so - she is endlessly amused by Mary’s resilience and persistence; she thinks perhaps she could have made an excellent ally were she made of the right stuff. Occasionally, she can be a bit grating, what with her crusade for undeserved ‘justice’ and all, but Bellatrix figures that she can’t be all fun and games.
What they like the most about your muse:
Her resilience, her fire; she admires her undying loyalty, and can respect it, no matter how unfounded it is. She also likes how she’s not afraid to back down from a fight - because Bella plans on bringing the fight.
What they dislike the most about your muse:
Literally everything else. She dislikes most everything about Mary on principle; she’s obnoxious, too brazen with her wrong opinions, a yappy guard dog wearing a pink bow rather than a collar. She’d like her much better were she subservient - and not allowed to traipse around like she owns the place.

God we had so much fun with them the last time around, I’m so stoked to develop them from the ground up, and fan the flames of that resentment until it grows into something ten times bigger than what we had the last go-around. Mary is one of the few people who’s ever really stood up to Bellatrix’s shit, and I have no doubt that she will this time around, too. I just love them honestly; and I honestly just want them to be toe-to-toe always.
