I know I’ve said it already but I haven’t forgotten about any of my four main fanfics. AitPU is updating slowly because idk how to write it but I think I’m fairly close to the end of the chapter (definitely closer to the end of the chapter than I am in the other three), TB is updating slower than usual because the next chapter is heavily reliant on something that hasn’t happened yet (Dino Entei and Robo Terrakion being announced) and MS and HoP are updating slowly because I haven’t made plans. But I have started writing all of them (even if I haven’t got very far in chapter 2 of MS or HoP yet)

I just want to say in regards to my 4 “main” (haha haven’t actually got past chapter 1 in Mach Speed or Heroes of Paldea) fanfics, how close to SV canon they are (spoilers for the eventual Paldea arc of Adventures in the Pokémon Universe and potential spoilers for Temporal Boost below cut)

Mach Speed isn’t officially a Pokémon fanfic (Mewtwo gets mentioned a few times but only because of Smash)

Heroes of Paldea ironically strays so far from the main storyline who knows how canon-compliant it is

Adventures in the Pokémon Universe is going to be as canon-compliant as possible (while splitting quests (eg the three storylines in Scarlet and Violet) between the gang, also there will be less of a focus on school in the Paldea arc, including the Indigo Disk subarc) and for storylines that are different between versions (or if there’s some big difference depending on which clan you side with in PLA that happens to be close enough to what’s going on in the Hisuian subarc (yeah chances are this subarc may be quite canon-divergent, at least with my current plans)) I’ll try and take the Emerald route (include both if possible with a compromise of some kind)

Temporal Boost is more self-fanservice and almost certainly won’t be canon-compliant
