The Citrus Duo aka the only Proto Beast and Neo Sword I don’t have tins for aka the fastest Neo Sword and slowest Proto Beast aka Orange and Lemon have returned to their native versions after several months but I’m going to do the mark hunting in the morning

Also judging by my last saved times it only took me 12 minutes to close Scarlet, open Violet, update Poké Portal News, put Yvonne in my box, change Celeste to its Ultimate Mode, change Celeste’s moveset to match the changes I made to Aurelius’s moveset, do the Magikarp raid, ride and unride Celeste, return Yvonne to my team then swap out my non-Paradoxes for the Unova trio and Lemon for Titan Arum and save. I’m sitting in a Pokémon Center queue as I type this and it originally said 13 minutes which is longer than that took

This is officially the furthest I’ve ever got in Towers and before today I was about middling for the Poison Tower by my standards (of my good types being walled at either Floor 15 or Floor 16 because I just don’t have enough good pairs of both damage categories for any type and my bad types not being able to make it to floor 10 with the three very worst (Flying, Dark and Dragon. I don’t believe in any of those three types having good pairs especially not Flying) being walled by Floor 7) so either Arc Geeta is a very good support or I really underestimated how good Klara is

And thanks to me not having to worry about what damage category Klara’s Buddy Move is I’ve beaten another floor much easier

And Poison is the first Tower I’ve reached Floor 20 in and I’m nowhere near it on any of the other Towers

So I’ve used my extra Plaques of Perfection to make Arc Geeta my first level 200 Sync Pair (previously Champion Selene was my highest at I think 190)

I did six scouts (three for each new Arc Suit and I alternated between the two of them just like I did with Florian and Juliana’s half anniversary alts) and I got my favourite non-rival Champion Geeta! Now I just need the other scout to give me my second-favourite Diantha (this Arc Suit chapter was made for me. I was anyway thinking last month I wanted these two to get Arc Suits at the same time)

The Pokemon Horizons tie-in with Pokemon Sleep has been announced, with the episode airing Aug21, and the event running between Aug17-Aug24. Pikachu will have a Captain's hat and Tinkatink and its Evos will be available! The Expert version of Cyan Beach will also release Aug10.

There’s someone on Twitter who’s using Koraidon and Miraidon’s category (the Paradox Pokémon) to argue against them being Legendaries. Like okay forget whether the DLC-exclusive Paradoxes count and if so whether Wake and Leaves also count and if neither whoever I actually consider my favourite Legendary now (probably Chien-Pao or Galarian Articuno) Arcanine is my favourite Legendary and my least favourite Legendary is Arcanine

If they ever do shiny raids for all of the Proto Beasts and Neo Swords (since they would be the first once-per-game raids to feature Pokémon that were in a different once-per-game event) it would be interesting to see if Wake and Leaves’s shiny event banners (the Ruinous Quartet got a banner each plus the shared one for the announcement) would be in the same poses as they are in their normal event banners or if they’d do something different. Maybe they could even just be in the poses they’re in in those pictures (the bottom two images) I think I found on their original announcement page on the Scarlet and Violet website (or the general Pokémon website I don’t remember)

Headcanon: the Ruinous Quartet keep their abilities activated when around the Proto Beasts and Neo Swords because they hate them so much they stay in “battle mode” whenever they’re around them (Boulder’s not the only one of the six Paradoxes here that’s gonna be increasing its Speed when its ability activates. At the very least Wake and Leaves are getting the Speed boost. Maybe also Fire and Crown. Bolt’s still getting the Special Attack boost)
