I was lucky enough to sing it with ensemble Organum several times in recent years and have cherished the experience. However, for some reason my memory failed me and I’ve always believed it came out in 1994 (my birth year). As I discovered during the editing process, it actually came out in 1996 and my intro is kinda ruined. Anyway, I hope you forgive me for giving you the opportunity to discover this saxophone-plainchant combination. It’s surprisingly not bad at all, just verrry dated 😅 Many ensembles have recorded Machaut’s mass. I didn’t have time to include another recording I enjoy, by Musica Nova.
