The inverse of the Zionist talking point that Israel is necessary for Jews to be safe is that no where else will ever be safe for Jews. It’s mother has most likely used the fake deer as cover for the fawn to sleep near. I’ve personally witnessed a doe direct a fawn to lay in a patch of tall weeds and go lay on a hill where she could see me and the tall patch of weeds. That’s what they do, find something bigger than the fawn to sleep near so they’re hidden while they sleep.

This isn’t a sad child looking for something mother-like, this is a kid getting put to bed.

I have come back from the dead to announce that I am conducting a survey into Hozier fandom and internet aesthetics, and would be very grateful if you could spare 5–15 minutes to fill it out. "No Other Version of Me I Would Rather Be": Social Media and Self-Identification Through Popular Music

This survey will form part of a dissertation on how social media users use music as a way of shaping identity both on- and offline. It will focus particularly on the relation between pop music, vibes, and internet aesthetics such as cottagecore and dark academia, as well as the inclusion of song lyrics in online personality quizzes such as those found on uQuiz.

There will be a special focus on the music and fandom of Hozier, and his popularity among LGBTQ+ communities, especially online.I am looking for volunteers, aged 18 and over, to fill out a short online survey about their internet experiences. Anyone who is familiar with, or a fan of, Hozier, internet aesthetics, social media, or all of the above, is invited and encouraged to participate.

Also, check email communications and add relevant people back into the thread if people reply only to you. In my experience it’s usually just people being bad at email or responding too fast, but sometimes folks are trying to pull a fast one on you and don’t want your friend/parent/boss/other to catch on.

Also, do this with real estate agents and landlords. Make sure everything is in writing, make sure there’s a paper trail. They will attempt to do as little as possible, and screw you over however they can. Especially if there are relevant laws - including your lease, which is a legal contract (I assume everywhere, but double check for yourself) - about what kind of upkeep theyre required to do in what time frame. Also look for local tenants orgs, free legal help/advice etc. re holding them to the contract if they refuse.

I dont think Ive lived anywhere where the owner was happy to just fix things, and if something is verbally promised you want that paper trail for evidence. You want evidence that they’re breaking laws by leaving you in a messed up rental situation.

You always always want evidence to cover your ass and expose others’ iffy- or wrongdoings.
