Apparently, Grasshop getting smacked around is fine in the dub, as long as it’s not the face. The last one was just a pan shot cut short.

Apparently, Grasshop getting smacked around is fine in the dub, as long as it’s not the face. The last one was just a pan shot cut short.
Three episodes in, and I really, really like Time Bokan 24. (Yes, I intend to give the original a try when I get the time.) Since it seems to run on a lot of running jokes, which can easily get stale, I just hope they mix things up a bit to keep it as entertaining as it’s been.
Anyway, the mecha designs are super-cute, they remind me of the designs in Spider Riders. Or, at least the theme of bug mechs. When I saw the purple spider, I immediately thought Portia, though it’s probably closer to a purple Hotarla. I think Buguese would love this show, since he gets creepy obsessed with all his Machine-Sectors. I’m headcanoning now that he watches it for ideas. Aqune ends up watching it with him, and she’s about to have her spider converted into a test dummy.
The fact that the narrator is Grasshop isn’t helping my headcanons either.
