@madamdirectorlucretia loves those mcelboys so much, has the funniest stories, and has such a soothing and good voice. also, again, they always manage to validate my dumb feelings and opinions.

@colormekorrasami is such a sweet guy, amazingly intelligent, and such a hard worker with the brightest future. he always deserves to hear the correct pronouns and be happy.

hey thanks!!!! i’m currently in school to be a funeral director (i actually graduate this spring, i’ll be licensed in ~about a year from graduation if all goes well lol??) which naturally is how i got involved; my job is mostly to do doorcall (which is mortuary science slang for, the people who greet you and point u at chapels when you go to the funeral home for wakes) or to answer phones in the office if the directors are busy/away. BUT i’m really lucky bc my bosses are AWESOME & know that i’m a student, so they’re constantly letting me follow them around and help them do stuff in the prep room, for funerals, at church, the cemetery, etc!!!

 i’m not licensed or a resident yet (a resident: a Special Intern thing u need to do a year of in new york state before you can get your directors license) so i’m very fortunate that my directors let me do as much as they do, i’ve gotten to help out with almost everything there is to help out with hahah

BUT because i’m not a funeral director yet i dont have to go to work every day, just when they need me/when stuff is going on. so.. in regards to my earlier text post: if it’s a slow week & no one’s dying, i dont have to go to work. true story i actually check the obituaries page on my job’s website to predict my upcoming work schedule oop

also heads up if gore/death doesnt freak u (or anyone reading this) out my side mortician blog is @thanatoxin!!

i did that the other day, too, when i thought i’d somehow accidentally deleted a big part of my fic, complained to tumblr about it, and then immediately found it again

One time I got a notification EMH posted at like 11:45pm when I was hanging out eating cookie dough out the container in the back of my friends flatbed in the Walmart parking lot and I screamed out loud and dropped everything to watch it

that is Entirely Fucking Valid and I would have done the exact same thing
