Giant/tiny headcanons based on the posts by @artmolonara and @nami-ramen
Tiny detective:
He probably gets transformed by some sort of science experiment gone wrong (Waldo is involved, although it wasn’t his intention.)
Waldo immediately finds it adorable. He loves manhandling his tiny detective, holding him in one hand, (his hands are already big to begin with but it’s just ridiculous.)
Waldo is much more gentle with the detective than normal. He doesn’t want to hurt him, after all..
Due to the circumstances, Waldo actually gives the detective a little bit of a break. He ofc doesn’t want to hurt him, so there’s a lot of passing him off to a double who can watch/hold them when needed, and when the detective is being held, they’re much more gentle with him, putting him in a pocket or under his hat.
They do pet him, but more like you’d pet a mouse or tiny bird, very gently and only on the head. They really find the detective quite cute like this, after all. A part of Waldo is almost disappointed to have the detective go back to normal…
The detective ofc is not at all happy with any of this. Any gentleness of Waldo is completely lost on them. They get angry just by the situation, and being forced to be held by the killer. There’s a lot of cases where Waldo gets his finger too close, and the detective bites him. Unfortunately, Waldo doesn’t mind in the slightest.
Tiny waldo(s)
Like artmolonara said, there’s… a LOT of them. Might be in the thousands. Unfortunately for the detective, they’re only higher energy to compensate for their size. They basically are like a bunch of mice, skittering around.
Also unfortunately for the detective, they have no issue with their situation whatsoever. they can’t really kill anyone being so small, but it certainly doesn’t stop them from causing mischief…
The detective freaks the fuck out to see them all swarming at him. Think of accidentally stepping on a fire ant hill… yeah. The detective is frantically looking for a flyswatter as the little bastards climb him.
Also the little Waldo’s definitely play with Junior. Everything from being the dolls in their dollhouse, reenacting play scenarios with their toys, etc. they find it a lot of fun.
That’s also the exact moment the detective would call an exterminator.
And in one occasion, the detective wakes up to find the tiny Waldo’s all cuddling around him…
