Posted @withregram • @macthepitbull THREE RESCUES IN THE PAST 12 hours. The black puppy is trying hard to die of parvo and is hospitalized. We helped out an animal control with this puppy. The cockatiel, mom, aunt Requi, and Audrey caught him after being alerted he was random in a yard hanging out. 40 feet up a tree and the three grunts coaxed him down and caught him. People they will not survive if you let them go. And tonight while my grunt was tube feeding our newest cleftie just got a request to help this new puppy. He has a dislocated hip and two fractures. He is already with our foster who rescued him and has been seen by a vet. His foster mom Ashley will probably be snuggling him all night. Three very different rescues but man do we all rock this as team Mac. If you share posts, donate, volunteer, foster, adopt, YOU ARE THE HERO. Everyone here does a part and those parts are all huge. So well done team Mac because the past 12 hours we kicked booty for the ones who need it most. Ok, sleeping tight because this baby will need to eat again in two hours. Posted @withregram • @macthepitbull What is hydrocephalus? It is excess fluid on the brain, meaning there is a larger then normal amount of cerebrospinal fluid that occurs in the brain. Because of that, there is pressure that builds up in the skull. Without treatment it can be deadly. But with treatment, you can get an amazing and lovable dog like Weeble. He is an American Bully who we have had for a year. He is a snorty bowling ball of love. He does have a diagnosis of severe hydrocephalus. For him that does mean lifelong meds, but that doesnt mean he cant have an amazing life. Those monthly meds only cost about $25-30. Not much in the scheme of loving this amazing little boy. He loves to play tug with his foster parents and foster siblings. He is never one to miss a meal and because of his meds, he does struggle with potty training fully. But he makes up for it with the best cuddles and adorable snores. He is a part of the Mac family, so he will always be special but that doesnt mean he doesnt deserve his own special family. #Repost @macthepitbull with @repostsaveapp · · · Hopscotch as she is now named from a suggestion by you guys. We had a Mac’s Mission follower reach out to us cause she heard about this puppy at her local vets office. The owner was going to euthanize and did the follower know of anyone who could help? In came us but we were just a couple hours too late and the person was gone with pup. Ugh!!! We were all literally heartbroken behind the scenes but we had to move on and work on saving others. Then a couple days later BAM: the puppy is picked up by our follower and on her way to safety and headed to the mission! Our new resident two legged puppy that defied odds cause we thought for sure she was euthanized is in a milk coma currently. Thank you to all who had a part in her rescue. Hopscotch the weenie/terrier mix is worth it and can easily live a long happy healthy life!! Two legs schmooo legs when you are pitbull strong!
