Killix and Sixty-Two as Xochipilli-Macuilxochitl
Xochipilli, "Flower Prince", is the god of art, music, dance, games, sexuality and psychedelics in Aztec mythology, a male counterpart to Xochiquetzal. An aspect of him is Macuilxochitl, "Five Flower", but the two deities are very closely related and sometimes addressed as the same (Florentine Codex Book 1 fXVV)
I have them as Killix and Sixty-Two because they are always seen as a duo together and they have had the role of one singular character *so far*
—
Starting with Sixty-Two, Macuilxochitl separately was the patron of the game patolli. Macuilxochitl was prayed to by the players in order to have luck in their game. The objective was to get all six of your pieces to the end of a board, using beans as dice.
( x )
And that's really convenient because Sixty-Two is just a bean in a mech suit.
As for Killix, Xochipilli was the patron of homosexuals (as well as a native queer symbol today), and Killix' species is homosexual, they're all male-presenting
Iconography wise though I don't have a lot of points for him, but the LAW symbol on his shipping job uniform that's skin tight. It resembles the way there are flowers and fungi on the body of the Xochipilli statue in the National Museum of Anthropology, CDMX
These include medicinal plants and stimulants like sinicuichi, tobacco, and psilocybe aztecorum, a hallucinogenic mushroom. And Killix' head is shaped like a mushroom
It's interesting that we will also have a plot point with stimulant mushrooms, specially aphrodisiacs.
But we've yet to see how it could relate with those two, if it does at all
Also something to note is that these are the gods of games, fun and pleasure, so it'd make sense that they don't do their goddamn job.

Pride month!
Xochipilli (Flower Prince) the god of flowers, beauty, dance and twin brother of Xochiquetzal.
The sexuality of this god is still a mistery...but he was supossed to be known for protecting the same gender relationships...so in my represetation he is gay.
And interestig fact that a lot of prehispanic cultures recognized the homosexual as a third gender;like in the Itsmo of Tehuantepec in Oaxaca where having a Muxe (A concept used to describe homosexual young men) familiar was sign of honour because they were the responsable for taking care of their mother, plus in Oaxaca the mother is the most important member of the family because of the matriarchy.
He was asocciated with the Macuiltonaleque (Minor god ) Macuilxochitl (Five flower) who was patron of games and dances.
In resume two happy boyfriends celebrating their month!
