No idea why it took me so long to notice this but throughout the episode Shrike has his suit off but he still has the "accessories" of it with him. The neck button, the "love handles", the wrist thingies, those are what need to be surgically removed

But in the dream sequence he has nothing, he's completely free of the suit

Which Could Mean Nothing

This dream sequence is screaming that it has some symbolism in it but I don't know what to make of it. Maybe it's a prophetic dream given Tito teased us with the Cosmic Owl from Adventure Time like, when this ep began production.

I agree that this represents the inside of Shrike's crystal because his stuff is there, and the palette, and the clouds, and the big diamond shaped sun, but I don't think it's what it looks like in there for real. I don't think little Lythop would have that reaction to it (unless it fell in the ocean and couldn't get to the surface 💀)

The red suit melting off of him must be symbolic of something. Maybe because Tezz officially terminated his Enforcer status, so a step has been taken forward in him separating himself from that.

But then throwing away the cone? Walking away from it and it comes back to grab him and pull him deep into the water? I don't know???

He doesn't want to get involved in this color conspiracy but he's gonna have to. Maybe because he might be part of it (⁠.⁠ ⁠❛⁠ ⁠ᴗ⁠ ⁠❛⁠.⁠)

Oh my god, Pomni, the character we follow the POV of that enforces the main theme of the show she's from (human connection) and Jax, the other character that openly opposes it, are the PROTAGONISTS of the show?! 🤯
