Does anyone else have whump phases like, in waves. Like for a while you'll be like "Oh yeah, some cool whump content, that's great," but you'll just keep doing your other daily life shit. But then out of nowhere for anywhere from days to weeks you'll get hit with the Super Whump Beam(tm) and literally all you can think about is fictional characters getting kidnapped and tortured. And then after a while of that it's back to business as usual until it all happens again

i can't express how absolutely important it is that when you make an edgy, brooding, badass character who's tough as nails and good at fighting and whatever, you HAVE to give them at least one reason to become completely helpless and pathetic. you have a panic attack quota to fulfill.

theres a guy who got permabanned from the elden ring subreddit for self promotion for posting too many videos of him no-hit parrying various enemies and bosses but after every successful parry he turns and looks at the camera. and bc hes always wearing the albinauric mask its like:
