the mimos...
I would like to remind my fellow mad botanists that your arboreal abominations are not the only things that need adequate hydration.
Remember to bring a container of potable fluids (not the experimental substance that's been in a flask on your desk for the last week) for any field work, and try not to spend too long in the greenhouses between 12pm and 4pm.
Thank you for your cooperation.

oh btw the native moss ball project is going basically perfectly. the small lighter guys are actually a brighter green than the og marino, while the larger ones are basically identical to the og but achieve much faster growth!
...now i just need to figure out what species they are, learn plant patent law, and convince my boss to help me sell them...
behold my children!
they're starting to turn out actually really good???
so, these little guys are starting to grow into something somebody might actually want to buy, like, on purpose
bonus: a sample of my experimental "breeds"

feb 27, 2022: i have invented...
...a new kind of marimo.
no string, no glue. 100% algae with a natural radial core, grown in my bedroom.
