Cersei Lannister has been blowing up and killing her enemies (royals and innocents alike) and everybody cheered her on because that is who she has been since season one, selfish and unmerciful. Yes, I fucking loved that about her! I love a strong female character that knows what she wants and who she is! Cersei crippled Bran, stripped Ned Stark of his honor, mentally destroyed Sansa Stark, killed the Tyrells and the High Sparrow, killed Tommen Baratheon, turned Ser Gregor into a monster-slave, killed the Sand Snakes, all because she could or did not get what she wanted. She promised she would help with the Wight Walkers and she was given a chance to surrender peacefully, the soldiers of Kings Landing saw that and Drogons big ass behind Dany, they could have easily stood down. Cersei got cocky with Daenerys and thought she could treat her like every other enemy. That was her mistake and downfall and now the innocent, her supporters, suffered the consequences. Cersei deserved a better death scene though.
Daenerys Targaryen sets fire to her enemies but she does not smile about it! I don’t know why the antis keep saying she does. I am personally happy she is seen in a villain light now because she has sacrificed so much for ungrateful people and they still seek a reason to dislike her but praise the fuck outta Cersei! Daenerys did not destroy Kings Landing because of the bells either! She destroyed it because she saw the Red Keep that her family built and it has taken so much that now she feels like it was never worth it. I’m annoyed that D&D said that she is alone with “too much power”? Like, what? Why the FUCK are the women with power seen as these villains but the men as the saviors?! I’m not saying what Dany did was right. Not at all, but she did not do anything that her enemies would not have done to her if Drogon was on the other team. A person can only take so much and that goes for Daenerys and Cersei. I’m happy we finally seen these two leave their comfort zones from calm and controlled to broken and vulnerable or mad (take your pick.)
